This was the final night in Kyoto, Walking around the river and residential areas is nice and quiet and provide unique photo opportunities, like below. The area along the river is full of street vendors, I usually get a little nervous going to these, as they pretty much never have any english menus. TRAINS! One […]
Exploring Kyoto’s residential streets is like embarking on a real adventure. You’re not just following a guidebook; you’re actually getting lost in a maze of narrow lanes, with surprises around every corner. It’s about turning down unfamiliar streets, chatting with locals, and stumbling upon hidden treasures like tucked-away shrines or charming little cafes. This journey […]
While exploring the area around the Bamboo forest, I came across a temple. While I wish i took more photos, it was incredibly crowded and was not able to get any good views. The entire area was beautiful and came across random places like a grave yard and part of the Avalokitesvara Statue. Just next […]
Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto is a realm of beauty, especially during the captivating fall season. As a photographer, I eagerly embraced the opportunity to capture the natural wonder of this place where towering bamboo and autumnal hues converge.
On day 2 of my Kyoto trip, I visited a lot of nature spots… In the heart of Kyoto’s fall glory lies Rankyo Gorge, a haven of captivating beauty. This natural wonder not only showcases the breathtaking autumn foliage but also cradles a meandering river that adds an extra layer of enchantment to the experience. […]

I just found another photo I took. I took so many of Tokyo Tower at night, just slowly going through them all.
I found out that the locations used in Persona 5 where based on real life places in Tokyo. So of course, I needed to explore it. It was great, the vibe I got from the area was copied perfectly in the game. I really felt like I was there. The double level highway was crazy […]

When i got to Akiba (Akihabara), There where crazy amounts of nice cars and ones with Anime painted on them. One of my dreams was to see them because they don’t exist where I’m from. I’ve been really thinking about getting the Type R as my next car… really nice looking in the streets […]
More Shinjuku photos…. I just was in love with this area.
When i was in the area, it reminded me of a scene from an anime. Although I can’t recall which one, any ideas?
I spent a lot more time than i thought i would in parks… I wanted to catch some cherry blossoms before they where gone. So I looked at a lot of them in and around Tokyo. I definitely found beautiful parks with more to offer than just cherry blossoms.
Tokyo tower was of course on my list. I just happened to arrive at night, a lot less people and I think a much nicer view. Its really difficult to get shots of the entire tower close up. Although the close up shots came out nice too. After going inside and looking at it for […]
Had to visit a place i discovered recently called Nakano Broadway. I first heard about it in the Digimon Cyber Sleuth video game. I thought it was made up for the game but later learned it was in fact a real place. It wasn’t very quick to get to but pretty easy if you have […]

I arrived in early April, originally searching for Cherry Blossoms but it came in Japan early this year. I tried looking for them and i found some but most where already gone so I was left with other trees that were pretty nice. I hung out at this park for a few hours. It was […]
